Welcome to the Official Website of Collin Alexander Brown!
Collin Alexander Brown is a multi-talented artist with a profound dedication to the healing power of performance. Born in Baltimore and nurtured by the vibrant culture of Queens, New York, Collin’s passion for the arts has been a lifelong journey. From his early role as the Cheshire Cat in Alice in BeatleLand, where he first combined his love of theater and music, to sharing stages with renowned musicians and training under esteemed acting coaches, Collin’s path has been rich with artistic exploration and professional growth.
Over the years, Collin’s career has spanned theater, music, and screen acting, collaborating with ensembles touring with artists like Dave Matthews, Jimmy Herring, and Oteil Burbridge and working alongside talents such as Carroll O’Connor and Will Patton. While pursuing these passions, he also felt a calling to explore formal education and spiritual interests, bringing a unique depth to his creative work.
Today, Collin is a pioneer in Creative Performance Therapy, a method he developed and perfected through over a decade of work within Senior Living and Memory Care communities. This unique approach, guided by his philosophy Entertainment to Heal the Heart, uses music, poetry, and puppetry to create meaningful and joyful experiences, particularly for those affected by Alzheimer’s, dementia, and memory impairment. Through well-loved songs, interactive puppetry, and creative writing sessions, Collin uplifts spirits, sparks memories, and fosters connection within these communities.
On this site, Collin invites you to discover the transformative power of the arts as he blends performance with purpose. Through music, theater, poetry, and counseling, Collin strives to enrich lives and build lasting connections.
